The group that started with 10 employees and 2 tons of production capacity per day is now India's largest producer of pressure parboiled rice that is colloquially known as Muri Rice or Mumura Rice or Lai Rice. Remembering the zeal and hardship of Late Puroshottam Agarwal his sons Mr Dilip Kumar Agarwal and Mr Alok Kumar Agarwal carried forward his legacy from 1977 onwards. Their persistence and ideology made Santi Rice Group the only completely debt free mega producer of PPR in the country.
